Doc, and his wife Bobbie live in Hague, about five miles from the Gallery
which is located in the old Farmer's Bank of Hague.
Doc was born in the small country town of Catonsville, Just outside of
Baltimore, Maryland. He grew up loving the Chesapeake Bay and its
tributaries. He spent much of his time on Maryland's Eastern Shore
where he gained a love and appreciation for waterfowl, hunting, the
watermen's way of life and country living.
After a career in the United
States Navy and corporate business, he began to paint the very scenes and
subjects he learned to appreciate as a youngster. For a more
